Offline questions
Do we need to buy special hardware?
Nauticare Local runs on the vessel’s existing servers or on a small dedicated computer. Tell us about your on-board IT and we’ll confirm what is needed.
Does someone from Nauticare need to come on board?
No. Installation and updates are done remotely; we just need someone to grant remote access.
What happens to the data when we’re offline for days?
The crew keeps working on Nauticare Local. Everything syncs with Nauticare Cloud as soon as the connection returns.
Can the office still see the vessel?
Yes. The office works in Nauticare Cloud as usual and sees the vessel’s updates once they have synced.
